Description: Medium sized ammonite with the center whorls preserved on one side. Backside center whorls are not completely prepared due to difficult fossil preservation. Darker iron oxide stained fossil exterior. Both sun/rain will typically weather the oxide, leaving the fossil ammonites gray to whitish in color. This ammonite was exposed at a Justin Texas construction site.

It was found at a construction site, along route 360 in Arlington Texas. These larger specimens are more difficult to find. Largest specimen found to date is a monster 10 inch ammonite, currently owned by a collector in Houston Texas. Price: $ 345.00
